Job Description:

• Ability to configure, deploy and troubleshoot networking equipment and configurations.
• Understanding of foundational protocols (OSI model, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc) as well as secure communications protocols (TLS, SSH, IPSec, MACSec, etc) and the ability to describe correct behaviour and identify anomalies.
• Ability to use tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump or similar to record and analyse packet captures of network traffic.
• Experience working with Unix-like operating systems (Linux, BSD, Solaris).
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and adapt to new circumstances and technology platforms.
• Understanding of basic security concepts and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
