Job Description:

Mayadata is looking for mid level Golang Developer to join our team and work with our open source cloud native storage solution OpenEBS. We are looking for someone that has experience with building Go micro services and distributed systems.

You'll be part of a highly capable and motivated team working on solving the hard problems of scalability, availability, and performance on a Kubernetes storage platform.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with OpenEBS and Kubernetes storage community to ensure product requirements are understood well;
• Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements;
• Ensure high level of quality;
• Take full ownership of the project from design to implementation and deployment ;
• Collaboration with other open source communities;

Qualifications and Experience required:

• 1-4 years of product development experience;
• Experience with web technologies, Go, Python, Java, Linux, Shell scripting, MySQL and noSql DB, Docker, Kubernetes;
• Experience in building real-time, large scale micro-services applications;
• Ability to work both independently and in cooperation with others;
• Ability to instill and enforce best practices around product development;
• Ability to navigate large existing code, and improve it as it changes;
• A sense of urgency and ownership over the product;
• Great attitude towards work and people;
• Intellectually curious, passionate, and inventive;
• Focus on quality and simplicity, sweat the details, and delight our users;
• Motivated to solve problems in unique and innovative ways;
• Preferably strong working knowledge of : Web services;
