Job Description:

MayaData is looking for a designer who can handle graphic design and UI/UX work. Part of the Marketing group, you will collaborate with the team on the strategy and own the design vision and project deliverables from rough sketches to working prototypes. They are looking for someone who should be able to explore and translate complex technical concepts into simple, engaging solutions and be able to communicate those solutions verbally as well as through sketches, user flows, wireframes, mockups and be able to succeed in a fast-paced collaborative environment without a lot of supervision.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• A minimum of 3 years of formal industry/professional experience as a web/mobile designer.
• Solid portfolio demonstrating design savvy.
• Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, color theory and typography.
• Understanding of the limitations of web and mobile, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries.
• Candidate must absolutely be in sync with recent design standards and trends.

Skills Required :

• Design Tools: Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator
• Front end Technologies : Javascript Evangelist, Master of HTML5, Jquery and CSS3
• Excellent time-management and multi-tasking. Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
• Excellent communication skills
• Learn something new everyday.
