Job Description:
 

Edkal Technologies are currently looking for a Sr.SDET to work on Android Mobile Application Platform for their offshore product development centre exclusively setup for their clients. The role requires an hands on experience in both Manual and Automation testing of Mobile application. Candidate should posses the ability to translate business requirements into test cases should ensure the product conforms to the business requirements and software quality standards. Ability to write and execute test plans/test cases for functional, regression, integration, end-to-end and user acceptance testing is a must.

• 5-8 years’ experience in Selenium automation is mandatory
• Minimum 3+ years hands on experience in automation scripting experience using Java/Python
• 2+ Years of experience in Android Mobile Automation using Selenium and Appium is a must.
• Strong knowledge of Testing Framework such as TestNg or Junit or Pytest is a must
• Strong knowledge of Java/Python Core and OOPS concepts is a must
• Strong knowledge of locator strategies is a must
• Ability to write reusable & maintain able automation code independently following coding standards
• Ability to understand, debug and enhance existing Automation framework and automated scripts
• Should possess Basic IP / Wi-Fi Networking commands, ADB commands to check if n/w is not available, check IP, check mobile devices connected etc.,
• Excellent client facing written & verbal communication, ability to independently manage project, interact with client-side product owners,application developers and stakeholders
• Knowledge of Automation on Wearable Android devices is an advantage
• QA experience in finance/payment industry is an advantage
