Job Description:

Desired Background:

• You can design & implement scalable, resilient backend microservices
• You can implement a reliable monitoring stack for your services
• You can setup & maintain the CI / CD pipelines for your services
• You are familiar with the AWS cloud ecosystem
• You are familiar or open to learning the container & Kubernetes ecosystem
• You can plan, estimate, and own the deliveries of your project
• You can collaborate with the engineering and product teams to deliver the right strategic and tactical goals for the business

Required Skills:

• Ability to choose the right algorithm, data structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement
• Experience and understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis or similar
• Experience in building backend microservices
• Experience working with managed cloud providers, such as AWS
• Experience building products on the JVM stack using either Java or Kotlin
• Experience or familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem is a plus
• Experience working with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka
