Risk Technology (within GFTS group) is focused on providing leading edge solutions to Risk business led by CRO in the areas of risk  calculation, reporting, analysis & management for all business segments and geographies. As such it is a top of the house function. Risk management spans multiple products and books across trading (EQ, FI, and AI) and banking (Wholesale, Commercial, Retail). Regulatory risk reporting to Federal and local regulators (Fed, OCC etc) falls within this area.

The applications developed are highly algorithmic and rich in UI and capture measures of  risk such as VaR, current  exposure, future exposure profiling, default probabilities, margining algos etc




Eligibility

-2012 batch BTech CS/IT or EC/EE with exposure to programming OR

  2012 batch BTech + MTech (Integrated) Computer Science OR
  2012 batch MTech Computer Science, BTech any discipline

-Good academics

From IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS Pilani, ISM Dhanbad, NSIT, DCE Delhi

Job Profile

Application developer in Global Risk Technology team.

You should have one of the following skills

a) C++ programming, exposure to scripting language Unix/Perl , Multithreading , Data structures & algorithms
b) Java, JEE, Flex, OOAD,
c) Business analysis, UML

Most of the systems have rich UI/user base and slice/dice large amounts of data so specific interest in Web services, work flow tools, RIA would be an asset.
