About the Role:

Fintech Primitives aims to abstract away the complexities of the global financial ecosystem into a developer platform containing tech building blocks. The fintech businesses across the world will mix and match these blocks to power their ambitious missions. You will be building a platform akin to a Linux kernel and design a distributed programming language for the fintech ecosystem.

Eligibility:

• 2019-2020 batches BE/B.Tech (Preferably CS/IT related)
• Good pH score
• 1 to 2 years programming experience in Java

Job Description:

As part of this role, you will be working on our Fintech product. Not limited to product development, you are also responsible to help our clients in solving complex business problems. Being part of the core development team to build such mission-critical applications is just a small part of this role!

Responsibilities:

1. Design, build and maintain the APIs and applications across Cybrilla’s products
2. Debug production issues across different microservices
3. Work with other engineers to build new features and products at a large scale
4. Improve engineering standards and build necessary tooling
5. Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications.
6. Build applications for various platforms using java frameworks such as Spring
7. Developing quality assurance procedures.

Desired Skill and Experience:

Core Competencies:

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
• Familiarity with version control concepts

Preferred Competencies:

• Knowledge of client/server application development
• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and unit testing
• Ability to handle multiple clients and multiple team members with confidence

You may Work on

• Building a new microservice for the Mutual Fund Execution Platform
• Integrating multiple third-party APIs: Bank and other financial institution APIs, Stock Exchange APIs, etc
• Designing and implementing robust message structures for distributed systems
